Türkiye Robots Battle League
Türkiye's first robot combat league
TRBL is Türkiye's first robot combat league. Teams design and build their own remote-controlled combat robots and fight them one against one in an enclosed arena. The league is organised by MakerBee.
The next event takes place on 23-24 January 2027 in Istanbul. Teams compete in three weight classes, each with a quota of 32 teams, for a prize pool of 400,000 TL. Early registration fees apply until 1 November 2026.

Prize pool: 400,000 TL
The champion of each weight class wins a cash prize:
- Featherweight (30 lb): 100,000 TL
- Beetleweight (12 lb): 60,000 TL
- Antweight (3 lb): 40,000 TL
The pool also covers second and third place prizes and three special awards: Best Design Award, Best Engineering Award, Rookie All Star Award. If fewer than 8 teams compete in a class, that class runs as an exhibition with trophies and no cash prizes.
How a match works
Each match lasts 3 minutes. A robot wins by knockout, when its opponent cannot move during a 10-second count, or by a judges' decision. Three judges score every match on aggression (5 points), control (6 points) and damage (6 points), and the robot picked by at least two judges wins.
The tournament format depends on how many robots pass technical inspection in a class: a round-robin league with playoffs for 4-7 robots, two groups and a double-elimination final for 8-13, and double elimination for 14 or more. Every robot is guaranteed at least three matches.
Where the league started
TRBL held its launch event on 11-12 July 2026 in Istanbul, with Beetleweight and Featherweight robots fighting over two days.
